Senior Services Volunteer Program

Supporting Seniors Through Volunteering

Washoe County Senior Services values the dedication of volunteers of all ages who help enrich the lives of older adults in our community. By sharing your time and talents, you can make a meaningful difference for seniors who need companionship, support, and essential services that promote dignity, independence, and well-being.

Strengthening our Community Though Senior Ambassadors

The Senior Ambassador Program was created to expand services for seniors living in rural areas of Washoe County. Volunteers help combat senior hunger and isolation by delivering meals, connecting seniors to resources, and offering social support. All volunteers receive training and guidance to ensure a positive impact.
