FY2024 and FY2025 HUD CoC Notice of Funding Opportunity and Local Project Application Competition Timeline

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for Fiscal Year 2024 and 2025 Continuum of Care (CoC) Competition on July 31, 2024. The Continuum of Care (CoC) Program is designed to promote a community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; to provide funding efforts for efforts by eligible non-profit providers, local governments, and States to quickly rehouse homeless individuals, families, youth, and persons fleeing domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking while minimizing trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness; to promo­­­te access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families, and to optimize self-sufficiency among those experiencing homelessness.

Northern Nevada CoC Builds NOFO Funding Application - OPEN

The Northern Nevada CoC is currently accepting applications for eligible entities who are interested in adding new units of permanent supportive housing (PSH) through new construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation through a one-time CoCBuilds award under the CoC Program. Projects are eligible to apply for up to an estimated $5,000,000 in funding. For full funding details and key considerations for the program, please review the project application and HUD CoCBuilds NOFO linked below. Project applications are due Friday, November 8th per the application document at the link below.
