Labyrinth Garden

Picture of Pasque Flower

Located in the East end of the park right off Sierra Street, The May Center's Labyrinth Garden is filled with many flowering perennials and is by far one of the most dynamic flowering gardens in the Arboretum. Filled with high desert and adaptive plant species, the first bloom (the pasque flower) can appear as early as February!

The labyrinth itself is a seven-circuit pattern known as the Santa Rosa Labyrinth. It is based on seven concentric circles in a 50 foot diameter, with a walking distance of about 1/4 of a mile.  We invite you to walk its single winding path to the center and back. Here you may find that the path of the labyrinth can become a metaphor for your own spiritual journey.

Keep an eye out for special events in the Labyrinth such as solstice celebrations and meditations hosted by The May Arboretum Society!
