Rancho San Rafael Regional Park - Master Plan Update!
Washoe County Parks invites the public to participate in the second round of public feedback for the Rancho San Rafael Regional Park Master Plan Update. This phase includes feedback gathered from the initial phase of public input and will help confirm the direction of the draft recommendations, draft concept maps, as well as prioritize recommended improvements for the overall master plan. Get involved by taking the newest survey by visiting the Rancho San Rafael Regional Park Engagement Website to participate! Survey closes August 30th. Continue to check back and keep informed on the park master plan progress.
2019 Regional Parks and Open Space Master Plan
After a public outreach process that included community workshops and an online survey, Washoe County is pleased to present the 2019 Regional Parks and Open Space Master Plan. This plan provides guidance and direction for the Washoe County Parks Program over the next 10-20 years. Priorities include: identifying sustainable funding sources; further developing and building out regional parks; acquiring open space areas to conserve important natural and cultural resources; contributing to the development of the regional trails system; and maintaining current park infrastructure.
