Field Trips
Every school year, we welcome field trips of all types to visit our beautiful gardens. If you are a teacher, principal, or homeschool co-op organizer, you have come to the right place.
Elementary field trips are available from August- Early November and April-June every school year.
Logistics
Cost: $3 per student, bussing not provided. If cost is restrictive, contact us for funding options.
Chaperones: For elementary field trips, 1 chaperone is required per 6 students.
Times: Frequently trips are limited to WCSD bussing availability, but can begin as early as 8:30am and must conclude no later than 2:30pm. Schools are welcome to have a picnic lunch on site before or after their visit.
Capacity: The Arboretum can comfortably host up to 50 students and up to 3 classes for field trips. If group size exceeds this number, a collaborative field trip can be created to include the May Museum. Contact us for details.
