Financial Obligations

Court Fines
The juvenile courts may impose the following fines or costs including, but not limited to: statutory requirements, traffic fines, and restitution.
Counseling/Programming Costs
Parents/guardians and juvenile may be fully or partially responsible for the costs for any court ordered counseling or programming.
Restitution
Parents/guardians as well as the juvenile are responsible to pay restitution.

How to Make a Payment

  • In Person - payments can be made in person at Jan Evans Juvenile Justice Center located at 650 Ferrari-McLeod, Reno, NV 89512, or at Washoe County Collections Office at 1001 E. 9th St. Reno, NV 89512. Accepted methods of payments are cash, check, money order, credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Discover).
  • By Mail - check and money order payments can be sent to Jan Evans Juvenile Justice Center at 650 Ferrari- McLeod, Reno, NV 89512. Please write juvenile's name on the memo portion. Do not mail cash.
  • Phone/Online - credit card payments can be made by calling Jan Evans at 775-325-7801, Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, or Washoe County Collections at 775-328-2552. Payments can also be paid online (minimum payment $10). All credit card payments will incur a 2.45% service fee. 

If you are unable to pay your fines, fees, and/or restitution in full, payment arrangements can be made through the juvenile's Case Manager or Probation Officer.
