Jessica Adams-Lopes is the Washoe County Homeland Security Program Coordinator. She works at the Regional Emergency Operations Center (REOC) at 5195 Spectrum Blvd, Reno, NV. 

Born and raised in Carson City, Jessica moved to Reno to attend the University of Nevada. She received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Sciences in 2013. She spent a handful of years in private healthcare and health administration before deciding to go back to school. She received a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Nevada in 2020. Jessica has always had a passion for helping people—and coupled with her education in health and safety—it seemed only fitting that she shifted to the field of Emergency Management. Jessica joined our program in January 2020.

Jessica is responsible for managing the Homeland Security program, which includes community outreach. Jessica is a Certified Nevada Emergency Manager-Associate and is a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM).

When she’s not at work, Jessica enjoys exercising, spending time with friend and family, and exploring our region’s amazing food and drink scene.
