How to Make Child Support Payments

There are several ways to make your child support payments. Direct payments you give the custodial parent may be considered a gift and no credit will be given.

Please note: Once SCaDU has received your payment, it may take 3–5 business days for processing.

Required: Name, NVKIDS case number, and SSN number must be provided on all money orders and checks.

Find participating MoneyGram payment locations

Cash payments accepted at participating locations such as CVS or Walmart.

NVKIDS case number and receive code 16506 required.

Accepted payment methods:
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Debit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or set reoccurring payments from your bank account via eCheck ACH*

*At this time there is no fee for the eCheck ACH

There will be a flat convenience fee of 2.95% per payment, for all Credit or Debit cards and Digital Wallet payments, with a maximum payment amount of $5,000.00. If you need to make a payment over $5,000.00, you will need to make more than one payment.

 

Important Payment Notices

Income withholding from paychecks is required by law for most child support cases.

Please note: If you pay your child support through income withholding and your full obligation is not met, you are responsible for paying the difference.
