Make a Payment - Code Enforcement

NOTE: Beginning April 22, 2024, a convenience fee will be applied to all credit card payments for the following types of transactions: Code Enforcement, Planning, Short Term Rentals, and Business License. There is no convenience fee for e-check payments.

Below are a few ways you may make a payment to Washoe County Code Enforcement.  Please know that making a payment does not relieve you of any violations that remain on your property.  You must continue to work with your code enforcement officer to bring your property into compliance or more penalties and fees may be issued.

BEFORE MAKING A PAYMENT, REVIEW YOUR DUE DATE

Before writing a check or making a payment online, please review the amount you owe and the penalty due date listed on your penalty notice.  Per Washoe County Code, there is a 50% Early Pay Discount applied to your penalty amount if you pay BEFORE the "Payment Due By" date listed on your penalty notice.

  1. Review the first page of this “Penalty Notice”
  2. Locate the “Payment Due By" date to calculate how much you may owe.
