Same Day Registration
Nevada offers same-day voter registration, allowing residents to register for the first time or update their voter information on the same day they vote. This is only available during early voting or on Election Day.
To use this service, visit any official early vote or Election Day vote center. Be sure to bring a valid, unexpired Nevada driver’s license, state ID card or tribal ID. If your ID does not include your current address, you’ll also need a proof-of-residency document, such as a utility bill, bank statement, lease agreement or similar document to confirm your address.
Once at the vote center, you’ll fill out a brief registration form, sign a sworn affidavit and then be able to vote in-person. Your vote will be normally cast if your ID fully verifies your eligibility, or a provisional ballot if you need to provide additional verification after Election Day.
Same-day registration must be done in person and cannot be completed online.
