Billing Schedule: Washoe County bills its Utility customers on a monthly basis. Billing is done at the end of each month for the month just completed. Bills usually reach the customers within three days of mailing. If you have not received your bill or have questions regarding your bill, rates for services please contact us at (775) 954-4601.
Late Payments: Payments received after the due date will be assessed a late payment processing fee of 1.5 percent of the outstanding balance plus a handling fee of $5.00.
Bill Responsibly: Please be aware that a property owner is ultimately responsible for non-payment of utility bills and that until paid, all utility charges constitute a perpetual lien on and against the property served.
