Government Background:
Brad has a decade working for the City of Reno, serving as the Arts, Culture and Special Events Manager and as a Community Liaison to the Reno City Council for 5 years. This work includes constituent services and community engagement.

Brad served as Vice Chair on the Sparks Recreation and Parks Commission, appointed by former mayor Geno Martini, and on the Sparks Citizen Advisory Committee representing Ward 3.
Reason for seeking position:
Brad is running for Sparks City Council Ward 3 because residents deserve transparency and fiscal accountability from their local government. As Sparks continues to rapidly grow, it's crucial to have leaders who are willing to put in the hard work and deliver real results for all Ward 3 neighbors and businesses.
Ward 3 has become a real hub in our community over the past 20 years. The Sparks Marina and the Outlets at Legends are great staples, but older neighborhoods like Brad's need an accessible representative who will advocate for the day-to-day issues, and be available to combat poor street conditions, pedestrian safety issues and ever-increasing traffic.
Brad's priorities include:
Increasing public safety resources to keep Sparks residents safe. After spending ample time with our first responders, they need more people in uniform - not technology to replace them. Brad is proud to be the Ward 3 candidate Sparks Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighters endorse.
Sparks residents deserve a representative who will fight for smart growth options instead of rubberstamping every new development project that is presented. Finding alternative housing options, including affordable housing is important as Sparks runs out of developable land by 2027.
As a 35-year Sparks Ward 3 resident and first-time candidate, Brad is honored to be endorsed by the following groups that represent our local first responders, teachers and hard-working families:
-Reno-Sparks-Airport Firefighters L731
-Public Safety Alliance of Nevada
-Sparks Police Protective Association
-Northern Nevada Central Labor Council
-Washoe County Sheriff Deputies Association
-Teamsters Local 533
-Carson City Sheriff's Supervisory Association
-Building & Construction Trades Council of Northern Nevada
-NV AFL-CIO
-Reno Police Protective Association
-Washoe Education Association
-Culinary Workers Union Local 226
-LiUNA Local 169
-International Union of Painters and Allied Trades
-Douglas County Sheriff's Protective Association
-Sierra Club Toiyabe Chapter
-Indivisible Northern Nevada
-Nevada Police Union
-Washoe County School Police Officer's Association
