Reason for seeking position:
In 2022, successfully negotiated a $250,000 ARPA subgrant from Washoe County for our District. With the assistance of former Assistant to the Board Cathy Glatthar, we were able to move through the grant process and justification quickly resulting in project completion and reimbursement in only 5 months.
Since 2022 and with the ongoing guidance and assistance of former Trustee Larry Johnson, I have taken on the responsibility of Project Manager for the PVGID. This includes proposals, writing contracts, and working with the outside contractors doing work in our District.
It is a privilege to serve as a representative for the people of Palomino Valley and if reelected I will continue to bring a reasoned and resolute approach to this position as a Trustee.
I will continue to be a champion of protecting taxpayer funds from wasteful spending that does not improve the quality of our roads, while researching and looking for more grant opportunities.
I will continue working to support a team driven environment with open communication for our employees/staff members who are the reason the PVGID functions every day.
Appreciate the opportunity to continue serving.
Thank You.
