Government Background:

Prior to being elected to the Washoe County Commission in 2020, I served as the City of Reno’s arts and culture manager and special events program manager for more than eight years. I also worked as an assistant city planner for the City of Sparks for three years, and spent time working in the nonprofit sector.

Reason for seeking position:

I am proud of all that the Board of County Commissioners and amazing Washoe County staff have accomplished over the past three years, including investing in mental healthcare and workforce housing, increasing childcare options for working and foster families, reducing homelessness, supporting coordinated emergency response services, and much more. I would be honored to be reelected to represent District 1 and continue this good work on behalf of all Washoe County residents.
