Reason for seeking position:

A judge needs to decide cases fairly, impartially and in accordance with the law. I have the qualifications, skills and experience to serve this community as your next Justice of the Peace. In addition to more than 32 years of courtroom experience as a lawyer, I have been serving this community as a jurist over the past 8 years. As the Court Referee in the Reno Justice Court since 2022, I preside over misdemeanor citations, contested civil infraction hearings, small claims trials and other civil matters including evictions. I have also presided over criminal matters for the last 8 years as a Judge Pro Tem throughout Washoe County. I want to use this vast judicial experience to continue to serve this community.
