Providing Support, Stability, & Opportunity for Adults in Our Community

The Washoe County Human Services Agency (HSA) Adult Services Division is dedicated to helping residents live safely, independently, and with dignity. Every day, we ensure adults have access to the resources, guidance, and support they need to maintain health, stability, and well-being.

Our Vision & Mission

We are committed to helping adults overcome challenges, access essential services, and create opportunities for independence and long-term stability. Our mission is to provide direct services, supportive programs, and community connections that empower adults, address immediate needs, and promote lasting security.

What We Do

Residential & Care Support: Operate CrossRoads, a sober living community, and provide case management for adults in nursing homes and group care settings.

Financial & Indigent Assistance: Coordinate burial or cremation assistance, rental and deposit support, and other indigent services for residents in need.

Community Connections: Connect residents with healthcare providers, social services, and local organizations to ensure access to essential resources and guidance.

Adult Services addresses both immediate challenges and long-term needs. By partnering with families, caregivers, and community organizations, we provide the tools, programs, and support adults need to live independently, safely, and with dignity.

Building Stronger Communities, Together

Adult Services works hand in hand with residents, caregivers, healthcare providers, and local organizations to foster a community where adults can live with confidence and dignity. Through collaboration, comprehensive resources, and personalized support, we help residents overcome obstacles, prevent crises, and maintain independence.
