Waste Disposal Services

The Northern Nevada Public Health does not enforce the Franchise Agreements with Waste Management (WM) and the City of Sparks, City of Reno or Washoe County.  Per the Franchise Agreements, the only company permitted to pick up and dispose of household garbage in Reno, Sparks and Washoe County is WM.  It is the responsibility of the homeowner/renter to make arrangements for weekly pick up service with this agency.
